About Bargetto Winery
Bargetto is the Santa Cruz Mountains' historic house: the Italian-immigrant family opened their Soquel winery in 1933, the moment Prohibition died, making it the region's oldest continuously family-operated cellar. Alongside mountain Pinot and Chardonnay under the Regan Vineyards banner, the house keeps two beloved traditions: Chaucer's mead and old-style fruit wines.
The creek-side Soquel tasting room, nine decades in, pours history with the portfolio. The mountains' founding family, still at the bar.
