Borden Ranch Winery takes its name from the Borden Ranch area of the Lodi appellation — the North Borden Road farming district where the ranch heritage and agricultural identity of the Lodi Delta landscape is particularly evident in the names of the roads and properties. The Borden naming connects to the history of American agricultural development in the San Joaquin Delta, where ranch identity was established in the names of the roads and community areas that successive farming families left on the landscape. The North Borden Road estate produces Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petite Sirah from Lodi AVA estate vineyard sources.
