About Brava Terra Winery
Brava Terra Winery combines two Romance language words — brava (Spanish-Italian for 'brave,' as in bravo-brava, the cry of appreciation for a courageous performance) and terra (Latin-Italian for 'earth,' the ground, the soil) — into a declaration of brave farming. The brava terra is the brave earth: terrain that challenges the farmer, limestone that resists and rewards, calcareous west-side soils that make the vine work hard to thrive.
The Adelaida Road estate produces Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Rosé from calcareous limestone Adelaida District estate vineyards. The walk-in format on Adelaida Road — one of Paso Robles' most-driven wine routes — makes Brava Terra one of the west-side's most accessible daily-visit estates.
The brave-earth philosophy extends to the hospitality: walk-in daily, dog-friendly, picnic-welcoming, family-hospitable.
