About Briceland Vineyards
Briceland Vineyards is the benchmark of Humboldt County wine, working west of Redway with a long devotion to the county's own vineyard sources and a house style of single-vineyard Pinot Noir, no-oak whites and lower-alcohol, food-friendly reds.
The drop-in tasting runs Friday through Sunday with seasonal additions, poured amid the redwood-and-river country that makes every Humboldt wine trip half pilgrimage.
It is the region's essential stop: the producer that proved Humboldt fruit deserved single-vineyard treatment, still pouring the argument three days a week.
