About Bumgarner Winery
Two locations: Bumgarner spans the El Dorado wine region with two tasting rooms. The Fair Play estate winery sits at 7380 Vineyard View Drive (Fri-Sun 12-4pm), and a second tasting room pours wines and hard ciders in the heart of Apple Hill at 3550 Carson Road, Suite B, Camino (daily 11am-5pm, (530) 303-3418).
Brian Bumgarner built his El Dorado label the farmer's way: Camino-based, estate-minded and Cabernet-serious, with mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignon leading a list of foothill reds poured in an Apple Hill-country tasting room, cider ventures rounding the family business.
The high-country Cabernet focus stands out in Zin territory, and the unpolished welcome fits the name. Camino, uncorked.
