About Cedarville Vineyard
Cedarville is Fair Play's quiet perfectionist: UC Davis-trained couple Jonathan Lachs and Susan Marks planted their high-elevation estate on decomposed granite in the 1990s and make only estate wines, Zinfandel, Syrah, Grenache, Cabernet and Viognier, farmed sustainably and sold largely to a knowing list.
Critics have long rated Cedarville among the Sierra's finest, proof of what granite, altitude and two meticulous owners can do. Small, exact and worth the appointment.
