About Copper Beech Winery
Copper Beech Winery is a small batch boutique winery at 146 Londonderry Turnpike, Building 3, in Hooksett, New Hampshire, in the woods near Lake Massabesic just east of Manchester. It is owned by Lin L'Heureux, and the tasting room opened to the public in March 2014.
The house makes fruit wines and meads rather than grape varietals, sourcing fruit locally wherever possible. The style is deliberately restrained: the winery describes its wines as on the dry side, with just enough sweetness to show the fruit character, fermented traditionally and aged at least a year before bottling. The winery began winning medals within two months of opening. The tasting room is small and the owner typically pours and talks guests through the selection.
Visiting is a weekend proposition and partly seasonal. One listing gives a season of early May through mid December with Saturday and Sunday hours from noon to 4 pm; another shows Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 am to 4 pm and closed Monday through Friday. Tasting fee and reservation policy could not be confirmed. Confirm current details with the winery before making the drive.
