Cottage Creek Vineyards was created by lifelong Santa Clara Valley residents on the western side of the wine trail, where Watsonville Road strings together the region's most concentrated run of family wineries.
The weekend-tasting rhythm and local ownership give the stop its personality: pours from people whose valley roots predate the label, on the road where neighboring Kirigin and Horse Thief make an easy three-stop loop.
Weekend hours generally run noon to 5 with reservations offered; confirm current times before building the Watsonville Road day around it.
