Croteaux Vineyards

Croteaux Vineyards holds a unique distinction as the only vineyard in the United States exclusively dedicated to growing vinifera grapes for making rose wines. Planted in 2003 on the North Fork of Long Island, the estate vineyards sit against the backdrop of two historic farms that have been in continuous agricultural production since the 1700s. Each year brings a fresh vintage of Croteaux roses, crafted from estate-grown grapes in the traditional Southern French style with a North Fork seaside inflection, and the wines consistently sell out by fall.

The tasting experience at Croteaux is unlike anything else on the North Fork. The quaint tasting barn opens onto a beautiful pebbled courtyard garden surrounded by historic outbuildings, white umbrella tables, and a signature bottle wall installation that sings in the summer breeze. Table service is offered throughout the garden, and the food menu features summery options like lobster roll sliders that pair perfectly with the crisp, dry roses. No limos or buses are allowed on site, preserving the intimate, relaxed atmosphere.
