De Tierra Vineyards is a family-owned winery producing estate wines from vineyards in Carmel Valley and the Russell Estate in the Tassajara area of Monterey County. The name, Spanish for "of the earth," reflects the family's deep connection to the land and their commitment to farming practices that honor the terroir. Founded by the Alarid and Blackburn families, De Tierra crafts Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and a Meritage blend from estate fruit grown in the warm Carmel Valley and cooler mountain vineyards.
