About DeLille Cellars
DeLille Cellars was established in 1992 as one of the first Washington wineries dedicated exclusively to Bordeaux-variety blends — a vision that has been vindicated by four decades of critical success and the emergence of Washington Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot as world-class wines. Co-founders Greg Lill and Chris Upchurch produced their first Chaleur Estate in 1992, and the wine has become one of Washington's most recognized and consistently acclaimed Bordeaux blends.
The Chaleur Estate — named for a French word meaning warmth — is a Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant blend from select Columbia Valley, Horse Heaven Hills, and Yakima Valley vineyards. It has drawn scores in the mid-90s from all major critics across virtually every vintage, establishing a consistency that few Washington producers can match. The Harrison Hill bottling, from one of Washington's oldest single-vineyard sites, represents the winery's most ambitious and historically significant wine.
DeLille's Woodinville tasting room is one of the area's most polished wine experiences, with the winery's full portfolio available for tasting and purchase. The production facility in Woodinville anchors the operation that draws from vineyards across Eastern Washington.
