About Domaine Chandon California
Domaine Chandon California is the Napa Valley extension of Moët & Chandon — the Champagne house that established California's first French-owned premium sparkling wine estate in 1973. The California Drive Yountville estate was the proving ground for the proposition that California's climate and terroir could produce méthode champenoise sparkling wines of quality comparable to French Champagne. Chandon California produces Brut Classic, Blanc de Noirs, and Rosé from Carneros and other cool-climate California vineyard sources, aging the wines en tirage (on their lees in bottle) following the traditional Champagne method. The Yountville estate includes a full restaurant (étoile) and is one of Napa Valley's most celebrated food-and-wine destinations.
