About Domaine de la Côte
Domaine de la Cote is the estate jewel of Rajat Parr and Sashi Moorman: a set of steep, ocean-battered Pinot Noir vineyards at the far western edge of the Sta. Rita Hills, farmed organically on diatomaceous soils and bottled as a family of crus, Bloom's Field and La Cote foremost, in a whole-cluster, low-alcohol Burgundian idiom.
The wines are among California's most distinctive Pinots, saline, floral and structured for the cellar, and the project's sibling Sandhi carries the Chardonnay banner. Edge-of-the-world farming, monastic intent.
