About Favia Wine
Favia Wine is named for Annie Favia, whose Italian-heritage surname becomes the label's identity in this personal project she shares with her husband Andy Erickson. Andy Erickson is one of Napa Valley's most sought-after winemakers — his consultancy portfolio includes Screaming Eagle, Harlan Estate, Ovid, and other cult estates — making Favia the winery where the most celebrated Napa Valley winemaker makes his own wine.
The Coombsville estate in the southeastern corner of Napa Valley produces Cabernet Sauvignon from estate and carefully selected purchased vineyard sources, with Annie Favia's viticulture expertise shaping the farming decisions and Andy Erickson's winemaking knowledge shaping every cellar decision. The combination of the valley's most acclaimed winemaker and one of its most knowledgeable viticulturists produces results that Wine Advocate has confirmed.
Wine Advocate has scored Favia's Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon at 95–99 points across multiple vintages — among the most consistently perfect-approaching scores in the appellation.
