About Ferrari-Carano Vineyards and Winery

Ferrari-Carano Vineyards and Winery bears the dual Italian-heritage surnames of founders Don and Rhonda Carano — Ferrari from the Carano family's Tuscan Italian lineage, combined with Carano, the two names hyphenated as a permanent dual-heritage declaration.

The Villa Fiore gardens at Ferrari-Carano are among Sonoma County's most photographed — five acres of Italian-inspired formal gardens with more than 3,000 tulip varieties, fountains, and sculpted parterres that bloom dramatically each spring. The hilltop tasting room beneath the villa offers daily walk-in access to Chardonnay, Fumé Blanc, Siena (the Italian heritage Sangiovese-based blend), and red Bordeaux varieties.

Winemaker Sarah Quider sources from more than 35 estate vineyards across Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley, and Anderson Valley. Wine Spectator consistently scores Ferrari-Carano's Reserve Chardonnay and Siena at 90–94 points.
