About Frey Vineyards
Frey holds an American first: the Redwood Valley family winery became the country's first organically farmed winery, and later the first biodynamically farmed one, farming and bottling without added sulfites decades before natural wine had a name. The sprawling Frey family, twelve siblings in the founding generation, rebuilt after the 2017 fires and carries on.
The wines are honest, affordable and everywhere organic groceries are sold, a quiet revolution in national distribution. The first family of American organic wine, literally.
