About Gard Estate Wines & Inn - Prosser

Gard Estate Wines, established in 2006, is the Lawrence family's tribute to their Scandinavian farming heritage - 'Gard' means farm - grown at the family's Lawrence Vineyards on the Royal Slope near Royal City. Winemaker Matias Kusulas works entirely with that estate fruit, Syrah to Franc Blanc, giving every Gard room the same origin story in the glass.

The Prosser destination on Wine Country Road brings it all to one riverfront property: a daily tasting room, Chef Skylar's seasonal kitchen running Thursday through Monday, and The Inn at Gard - four fireplace suites with private balconies over the Yakima River plus a pet-friendly two-bedroom condo.

This is the property long known to travelers as Desert Wind's home, now carrying Gard's hospitality; Desert Wind brand sales continue separately. Walk in for a flight, stay for the burger, book the balcony.
