About Gard Woodinville
Gard Estate Wines, established in 2006, is the Lawrence family's tribute to their Scandinavian farming heritage - 'Gard' means farm - grown at the family's Lawrence Vineyards on the Royal Slope near Royal City. Winemaker Matias Kusulas works entirely with that estate fruit, Syrah to Franc Blanc, giving every Gard room the same origin story in the glass.
The Woodinville room sits at The Junction near the Warehouse District, a low-pressure space where the estate's range pours without ceremony five days a week.
It is the easiest way to taste the Royal Slope inside Seattle's wine suburb; pair it with the surrounding warehouse-district crawl.
