About Geyser Peak Winery
Geyser Peak Winery is one of the oldest continuously operating wineries in the Alexander Valley. Founded in 1880 on the Chianti Road property in Geyserville, when the Alexander Valley was still primarily a farming rather than wine destination, the winery has been producing wines from the same land for over 140 years, predating the modern California wine industry by decades.
The Trione family, who co-founded a modern iteration of the estate in 1972, built Geyser Peak into one of Sonoma County's most recognized large-production quality labels before eventually establishing Trione Vineyards as their own family expression. The current estate continues the tradition of accessible, value-driven Alexander Valley wines produced from the warm-climate benchland and hillside terrain surrounding the historic Chianti Road facility.
The daily walk-in tasting experience with sweeping Geyserville-area views and picnic grounds makes Geyser Peak one of the most accessible estate experiences in the northern Alexander Valley, a natural stop on any Geyserville-area wine exploration that combines genuine historical depth with the approachable pricing and open hospitality that has sustained the brand across 140+ years of continuous operation.
