About Girasole Vineyards
Girasole, sunflower in Italian, is the value label of the Barra family, whose patriarch Charlie Barra farmed Redwood Valley for some seven decades and championed organic viticulture long before certification existed. Every Girasole wine is organically farmedally grown and priced for the weeknight table.
The label made honest organic wine a grocery-shelf reality, Mendocino's farming conscience at everyday prices. Charlie's sunflower, still turning.
