About Gold Vine Grill & Winery
Gold Vine Grill & Winery combines two foundational Amador County heritage elements in its name: gold (the mineral that created the Gold Rush of 1849 and drew 300,000 people to California, transforming the Shenandoah Valley from wilderness to settled community) and vine (the agricultural tradition that has sustained the valley since the gold was exhausted). Gold first, vine second — the historical sequence of Amador County's land use declared in the winery's name.
The Shenandoah Road estate produces Zinfandel, Barbera, and Petite Sirah from Amador County vineyard sources alongside a full-service restaurant kitchen — making Gold Vine Grill one of the Sierra Foothills' most complete food-and-wine destination experiences. The extended evening hours accommodate the dinner crowd alongside the wine tourists.
