About Guthrie Family Wines
Guthrie Family Wines is the personal project of Wells Guthrie, the winemaker behind Copain Wines, expressing his own family's Sonoma Valley terroir alongside the cool-climate Russian River Valley program at Copain.
The SORBET organic tasting at Fort Mason in August 2025 featured Guthrie Family Wines as one of the progressive Sonoma Valley producers with certified organic farming practices. The estate produces small quantities of Sonoma Valley Pinot Noir, Syrah, and other varietals from their home vineyard and carefully selected neighboring sites.
