The Hafner family has farmed Alexander Valley vineyards on Pine Flat Road since the 1960s, predating most of the appellation's current estates and accumulating decades of specific site knowledge. The Alexander Valley's volcanic and alluvial soils, warm summer temperatures, and cool Pacific-moderated evenings produce Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon of the generous, full-bodied character the appellation is known for.
