Hecker Pass Winery was founded in 1972 by a third-generation Italian vintner and is now carried by the fourth and fifth generations, one of the deepest family lines still pouring on the highway that bears its name.
Daily hours from 11 to 5 make it the corridor's most dependable door, with estate wines poured a few steps from the vines in the unhurried style the family has kept for fifty years.
