Hidden Meadow Vineyard is a small family farm winery at 664 County Road 606 in Jemison, Alabama, in the Chilton County peach country south of Birmingham. Planting began in 2005 and was extended through 2010, and the vineyard covers about four acres. Alabama's state tourism office describes it as a family farm winery where you can sample Southern muscadine and fruit wine, and it has been a stop on the Alabama Wine Trail.
The rows hold muscadine in the Noble, Carlos and Magnolia varieties along with Concord, Niagara and Cynthiana, and the wine is made on site from the vineyard's own fruit and other local fruit. The range has run from dry through dessert, more than a dozen wines in all. Visits have combined a guided tour with a tasting, taken on a porch or deck that looks out over the vineyard.
