About J. Lohr San Jose Wine Center
J. Lohr opened its first winery in San Jose in 1974, and the Lenzen Avenue Wine Center keeps that origin alive even as the producer's celebrated vineyards now span Arroyo Seco and Paso Robles.
The center pours the full statewide portfolio daily, Monday through Saturday 11 to 6 with Sunday and holiday hours varying, making it the South Bay's most convenient serious tasting and a living link between Silicon Valley and one of California's major wine names.
For San Jose visitors it is the no-drive wine stop; for J. Lohr followers it is the pilgrimage to where the label began.
Before Paso, there was San Jose: J. Lohr still pours daily at the 1974 address where it all started.
