About Kruze Rd Winery

Kruze Rd Winery is Val and Dave's two acre vineyard and outdoor tasting room on a working ranch minutes north of Lovelock, Nevada, established in 2020 after a trip to Italy convinced the two former teachers to turn their patch of high desert dirt into vines. Around eleven wines pour seasonally, from Sangiovese and Zinfandel to Nevada grown Riesling.

This is real high desert tasting: sagebrush on the breeze, gravel underfoot, farmers working nearby and the winemakers themselves pouring. Open seasonally on weekends roughly April through October, with appointments in the off season, so check ahead. Nevada wine is a frontier: hours are seasonal and confirming ahead is essential. Confirm current hours, tasting fees and reservation policies with the winery before you go.
