About Lake Michigan Vintners
Lake Michigan Vintners is a winery in Baroda, Michigan, producing wines in the Great Lakes State. Michigan is one of the top wine-producing states in America, with the Old Mission Peninsula and Leelanau Peninsula AVAs near Traverse City producing world-class Riesling, Pinot Noir, and sparkling wines, while the Lake Michigan Shore AVA anchors the southwest wine region.
Lake Michigan Vintners is the tasting room and working winery of Lake Michigan College's winemaking and viticulture program, making it one of the few places in the country where visitors taste wines made by the region's next generation of winemakers in training. Dry Riesling and Blaufrankisch have been recent standouts.
