About Leisure Time Winery
When the route brings you to Napoleon, Leisure Time Winery offers a relaxed winery and tasting-room experience and is worth planning as a real stop rather than a hurried check-in. Think of the visit as a country winery and tasting room. You'll find it at 16982 County Road M2, Napoleon, OH 43545, which gives you a clear starting point for building the day around Napoleon. Ohio tasting rooms vary widely in size, schedule, food service, and event programming, so the best visits usually start with a quick check of the current details. Once you arrive, let the tasting tell you what Leisure Time Winery does best. Start with a flight or a staff-guided selection when one is available, and ask what the team is most excited to pour right now.
One useful question is which wines have the strongest Ohio connection, whether through estate fruit, locally sourced grapes, or a style that has become part of the winery's identity. It is also worth asking whether the current lineup leans dry, off-dry, sweet, fruit-forward, or spans several styles. That conversation gives you a much better sense of the producer than automatically ordering the same familiar varietal at every stop. For a first visit, the best approach is to let the tasting room show you what the winery does well. A flight or guided sample, when offered, gives you room to compare styles instead of defaulting to the varietal you already know. Published winery information shows Thursday-Saturday service.
A 2026 northwest Ohio wine trail also confirms active visitor programming. In Northwest Ohio, Leisure Time Winery can be folded into a Toledo, Bowling Green, or countryside wine day depending on your route. Choose nearby stops and keep the mileage manageable so there is time to actually sit, taste, and talk with the people pouring. This is not a place to over-plan around a single bottle you have already chosen. The more useful first visit is exploratory: confirm the schedule, taste across the current lineup, ask what is most representative now, and let the winery's own strengths shape the visit. It works best for travelers who want to discover a regional producer rather than simply visit the biggest name on the route.
