Founded in 2014, Marine Layer focuses exclusively on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Sonoma Coast — the 'marine layer' referring to the Pacific fog that rolls in each morning and defines the cool, coastal character of the appellation. Winemaker Mark Albrecht has built a house style of remarkable freshness and salinity — wines that taste like the Pacific Ocean smells on a foggy Sonoma Coast morning.
