About Morgan Winery
Morgan is one of the Santa Lucia Highlands' early champions, founded in 1982 by Dan Morgan Lee well before the region became famous for Pinot Noir. The focus is elegant, cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, much of it from the estate Double L Vineyard, one of the region's first organically farmed sites, alongside an unoaked Chardonnay, Rose, and Syrah.
The wines balance richness with freshness, reflecting the cool, wind-swept Highlands. Tastings are relaxed and welcoming at the winery's tasting room near Carmel, making Morgan an easy and rewarding introduction to some of Monterey County's benchmark cool-climate wines.
