Mosaic Wine Project is named for the mosaic — the assembled artwork created from individual pieces of colored tile, stone, or glass, each piece contributing to the larger design while maintaining its own distinct character. The wine project philosophy applies the mosaic principle to blending: the multiple vineyard sources contributing their individual character to create a wine of greater complexity than any single source could achieve alone. The Russian River Valley boutique produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from contracted estate vineyard sources with the mosaic-assembly philosophy the artistic naming implies.
