Nassau Valley wrote Delaware's wine law: Peggy Raley's Lewes estate, the state's first winery, exists because its founder personally drove the farm-winery legislation through Dover, estate vinifera, a wine museum and beach-country position making the Nassau Commons property the First State's founding pour. Law-writing provenance and first-winery standing built founding-anchor status. She made it legal, then made it good.
