About Palmina Wines
Palmina was Steve Clifton's love letter to Italy in Santa Barbara soil: the Lompoc house he built into California's most serious Italian-variety program, Nebbiolo above all, alongside Barbera, Dolcetto, Malvasia, Tocai and more, wines that treated the Cal-Ital idea with genuine Piedmontese rigor. Clifton, also of Brewer-Clifton fame, set a standard the category still chases.
The Nebbiolos in particular, structured and patient, proved the grape could speak Californian without losing its accent. A pioneering house for lovers of the boot.
