• Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password.
• Content you create. The wineries you save and any lists you build are associated with your account.
• Usage and device data. Standard technical information such as browser type, device, and pages viewed, collected to keep the site working and secure.
• Local storage. We store small amounts of data in your browser to keep you signed in and to cache winery details so pages load faster.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and let you save wineries and lists.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the site.
• To communicate with you about your account, such as verification and password resets.
• To respond to your questions and requests.

Service providers

We rely on trusted third parties to run the site. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms:

• Supabase for authentication and database storage of your account and saved wineries.
• Netlify for website hosting and delivery.
• Google for optional "Sign in with Google" authentication, and for maps, place details, photos, and ratings shown on winery pages.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers above as needed to operate the site, or when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Wino Notion and its users.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and browser local storage for essential functions such as keeping you signed in and remembering your preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

Your choices and rights

You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, or to close your account, email us at wino@winonotion.com. Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal information, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Wino Notion is intended for adults of legal drinking age. You must be at least 21 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
