About Quivira Vineyards

Quivira Vineyards is one of the most committed biodynamic estates in Dry Creek Valley. The 100-acre property on West Dry Creek Road has been farmed biodynamically since 2008 — well before biodynamic farming became fashionable in California wine — and the diversity of the estate reflects that holistic approach: vegetable gardens, chickens, sheep, olive trees, and beehives alongside the old-vine Zinfandel and Rhône varietal vineyards.

Founded in 1981 and purchased by Pete and Terri Kight in 1996, Quivira has built a reputation for Zinfandel and Grenache of genuine complexity alongside estate olive oil that is among the finest produced in Sonoma County. The Fig Tree Vineyard Zinfandel — from old-vine estate plantings — is consistently one of the most celebrated Dry Creek Zinfandels produced.

The tasting room and estate are warm and family-friendly — the biodynamic farm setting creates a genuinely agricultural atmosphere that goes beyond wine to encompass the full ecosystem of a sustainably managed estate.

Quivira Vineyards presents a featured lineup that includes Fig Tree Vineyard Zinfandel, Wine Creek Ranch Zinfandel, Grenache, and Dry Creek Valley White Blend. Together, these bottles provide a focused introduction to the varieties, vineyard sources, and style that define the winery's current portfolio.

"Certified biodynamic Dry Creek Valley estate since 2008 — old-vine Zinfandel, Rhône varietals, estate olive oil, and one of the most committed sustain"
