About Quivira Vineyards & Winery
Quivira Vineyards is Dry Creek Valley's most celebrated certified organic and biodynamic estate — a commitment that owner Charles Jackson established in the 1990s and has maintained with genuine conviction. The estate's Zinfandel, Grenache, and Mourvèdre are produced from vineyards that have been farmed without synthetic chemicals for decades, producing wines of remarkable freshness and complexity.
The winery takes its name from the legendary city of gold that early Spanish explorers sought in the American West — a name chosen to capture the spirit of discovery and aspiration that defines the best of Sonoma wine culture. The 1897 Estate Zinfandel and the Fig Tree Vineyard Zinfandel are the estate's signature wines, combining old-vine concentration with biodynamic freshness.
Quivira is open daily for walk-in tasting and is one of Dry Creek Valley's most welcoming estates — the combination of biodynamic farming, estate Zinfandel, and genuine hospitality makes it a natural first stop on any Dry Creek Valley wine road exploration.
