About Quivira Vineyards & Winery

Quivira Vineyards is one of the most genuinely sustainable and welcoming winery experiences in Dry Creek Valley. The estate converted to certified biodynamic farming in 2007 — one of the first in Dry Creek to do so — and the farm today is a working biodynamic ecosystem: chickens, goats, bees, a kitchen garden, a creek running through the property, and vineyards that have been dry-farmed for decades.

The name comes from a legendary mythical land of riches that Spanish explorers sought in the American Southwest — and the wines live up to the legend. Quivira's Zinfandel program is among the most consistent and honest in Dry Creek Valley, sourced from old vines on the estate and from neighboring dry-farmed parcels. Their wine style is earthy, food-friendly, and authentically Dry Creek.

The tasting experience reflects the farming philosophy: relaxed, unpretentious, and genuinely welcoming. Walk-ins are always welcome, dogs can run through the property, and the picnic area by the creek is one of the most beautiful and peaceful outdoor spots in Healdsburg wine country.

Quivira Vineyards & Winery presents a featured lineup that includes Fig Tree Vineyard Zinfandel, Wine Creek Ranch Zinfandel, Grenache, and Sauvignon Blanc. Together, these bottles provide a focused introduction to the varieties, vineyard sources, and style that define the winery's current portfolio.

"Quivira Vineyards & Winery — estate wines in Sonoma County."
