About RayLen Vineyards

RayLen Vineyards is one of the largest and most acclaimed wineries in North Carolina's Yadkin Valley, producing estate wines from 46 acres of vineyards on rolling Piedmont terrain. Founded by Steve Shepard, the winery has earned consistent recognition at state and national competitions for its Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, and the winery's signature Category 5 red blend. The Yadkin Valley's clay and granite soils, moderate climate, and long growing season provide excellent conditions for both European vinifera and hybrid varietals.

The tasting room and events venue on Highway 158 near Mocksville offers a sophisticated experience with guided tastings, food pairings, and vineyard views. RayLen regularly hosts wine dinners, live music, and festivals, and has become one of the flagship destinations in the Yadkin Valley wine region.
