About Ruby Hill Winery
Ruby Hill Winery is a historic estate in Pleasanton at the western gateway to the Livermore Valley, with roots that date to 1887 when John Crellin planted the original vineyard. The property's grand stone winery building, constructed in the 1890s, is one of the most architecturally significant structures in the valley and has been beautifully restored. Today Ruby Hill produces a range of estate wines including Chardonnay, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and sparkling wines in a setting that blends 19th-century elegance with modern winemaking.
The tasting room occupies the historic stone building and opens onto landscaped grounds with vineyard views. Ruby Hill is also one of the valley's premier event venues, hosting weddings and gatherings in its dramatic barrel room and estate gardens. The combination of deep history, striking architecture, and quality wines makes Ruby Hill a standout destination in the Livermore Valley.
