About Scheid Family Wines
Al Scheid came to the Salinas Valley in 1972 and built one of California's great grower estates: thousands of sustainably farmed acres running the valley's length, wind-machine pioneering, and a vertically integrated family company whose own labels, led by Scheid Family Wines, showcase the estate's cool-climate range. A downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea tasting room pours the top tier.
