Seabone Cellars takes its name from the sea-bleached bone — the object found on the shore that has been transformed by the ocean's action, its original character altered by salt water and wave action until it is pure white, smooth, and bearing the marks of the sea's process. The seabone declares the philosophy of the extreme Sonoma Coast: wine transformed by the ocean's daily influence, its natural characters stripped of unnecessary elements by the maritime exposure until only the most essential mineral character remains. The boutique produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from extreme Sonoma Coast vineyard sources with the sea-transformation philosophy the seabone naming implies.
