About Serial Wines
Serial Wines pours the whole Paso Robles AVA from one downtown lounge: a series of district designate and single vineyard bottlings drawn from hidden gem sites across the region's eleven districts, conceived by vintner John Anthony Truchard and made by winemaker Jeff Kandarian. The tasting lounge occupies the historic Odd Fellows building on Park Street, a half block from City Park, and it earned a spot on USA Today's Readers' Choice 10Best New Wineries list in 2022.
Inside, craftsman Richard Von Saal's reclaimed materials and industrial finishes frame a gallery of the artworks that also appear on the labels, with lounge seating gathered around two indoor outdoor fire pits. It is the rare Paso tasting room that stays open late, until 10pm most nights and midnight Thursday through Saturday, an easy downtown stop before or after dinner. Flights run from AVA surveys to district deep dives, with Albarino, Picpoul Blanc, Tempranillo, Syrah and Rhone style blends among the pours.
