About Setter Ridge Vineyards
Setter Ridge runs dry at Kutztown: the Blair family's Berks estate pours dry-focused vinifera, Pinot Noir ambitions included, English-setter branding and pastoral slopes serving the county's serious-list seekers. Tastings pour weekend-forward hours on the slopes, and the dry-only list makes it the trail's palate-cleansing counterpoint.
Dry-only discipline and estate calm built connoisseur loyalty. The setter points dry.
Setter Ridge is the Lehigh Valley’s Burgundy outpost: founder Richard Blair fell for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on a trip to France and built the Kutztown estate around them in the early 2000s. Philadelphia sommeliers note the wines age beautifully, and the hilltop tasting pavilion frames views of the Blue Mountains, with flights daily.
