About Shawnee Bluff Vineyard
Shawnee Bluff Vineyard is a winery in Eldon, Missouri, producing wines in the Show-Me State. Missouri was one of America's leading wine states before Prohibition, and the modern wine industry has built on that heritage with AVAs along the Missouri River Valley and in the Ozark Highlands that produce wines from both hybrid and native Norton grapes.
The Lake Ozark tasting room, set among rolling hills with sweeping lake views, has become one of the Ozark Mountain AVA's most popular stops. The family-owned operation is known for estate-grown Norton, Missouri's state grape, and also sources fruit for Muscat, Vidal Blanc, Vignoles, Cayuga, Catawba, and St. Vincent bottlings. Its newest venture, Riverbird Winery, occupies a restored 1930 hand-quarried stone lodge overlooking the Big Niangua River in Camdenton.
