About Stonehaus Winery

Stonehaus Winery at 32020 Rancho California Road is one of Temecula Valley's most distinctive and architecturally memorable tasting destinations, a European village-inspired property featuring stone buildings, terraced gardens, and a relaxed, Mediterranean atmosphere that sets it apart from the more conventional estate wineries on the appellation's main corridor. Founded in 2011, Stonehaus has become known as much for its setting and hospitality experience as for its wine, attracting visitors who want a leisurely afternoon in a beautiful environment alongside quality Temecula Valley productions.

The winery produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Sangiovese from Temecula Valley vineyard sources, with the Italian variety Sangiovese representing one of the more interesting selections in the portfolio, a wine that shows the food-friendly acidity and cherry-driven character that the variety achieves in warm, dry climates similar to Tuscany. The estate grounds, with their terraced seating areas, bocce ball courts, and stone-walled tasting spaces, create an atmosphere that encourages lingering over wine and food rather than rushing through a standard tasting flight.

Walk-ins are welcome daily from 11am to 6pm with a $15 tasting fee. The Rancho California Road location makes Stonehaus easily accessible from the region's other major estate wineries, and the distinctive European aesthetic makes it one of the most photographed and social-media-shared properties in the Temecula Valley wine district.

"Stonehaus is the Temecula Valley wine experience for people who want to linger, a European village atmosphere that invites visitors to slow down, pour another glass, and stay for the afternoon."

Wine club membership provides access to limited releases and member events on the estate grounds. For visitors to Temecula Valley who prioritize atmosphere and experience alongside wine quality, Stonehaus Winery is one of the appellation's most distinctive and enjoyable destinations.
