Stray Leaves Vineyard gave the mountain AVA a main-street address, opening its Historic Downtown Tehachapi tasting room in January 2023 with flights spanning dry-to-sweet whites, bolder reds and shareable appetizers.
The downtown position changes the trail's logistics: visitors can taste without a vineyard drive, then browse the historic district between pours, making it the AVA's easiest introduction.
