Eye of the Needle Wines takes its name from the biblical metaphor — 'it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.' The eye of the needle has become a shorthand for impossible difficulty, the very narrow passage that seems to preclude large things from passing. Applied to wine, the naming declares the estate's philosophy: wine that passes through the most demanding quality criteria, the narrow passage of uncompromising selection that only the finest lots can navigate. The Paso Robles boutique produces Cabernet Sauvignon from Geneseo District estate and contracted vineyard sources.
