About The Ojai Vineyard

Adam Tolmach founded The Ojai Vineyard in 1983 after co-founding Au Bon Climat, and spent the decades since making some of the Central Coast's most soulful Syrah, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from great Santa Barbara vineyards, in a style that turned decisively toward freshness and restraint years ahead of the industry. The tasting room pours in downtown Ojai.

Tolmach's willingness to pick early and chase energy made the house a critics' touchstone and a template for California's balance movement. Quietly one of the state's most influential cellars.
