Torrent Wines is named for the torrent — the rushing water, the powerful flow of a flooded stream, the water that moves with the force of a mountain or storm source. Applied to wine, the torrent philosophy declares wine of rushing intensity: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with the concentrated energy of a spring torrent, the force of the Pacific winter rains that flood the Russian River and deposit the alluvial complexity that the vineyard soil's torrent history created. The micro-boutique produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from contracted Russian River Valley vineyard sources.
